Tóm tắt. Hiện tại, có tám loài thuộc giống thằn lằn nước Tropidophorus được ghi nhận từ Việt Nam. Bài báo cung cấp mô tả các loài dựa trên những sưu tập mới và dẫn liệu lịch sử tự nhiên và phân bố mới của tất cả các loài thằn lằn nước ở Việt Nam. Bên cạnh đó, bài báo cũng đưa ra khoá định loại cho các loài thuộc giống Tropidophorus ở bán đảo Đông Dương.
Abstract. At present, eight species of the water skink genus Tropidophorus are recognized from Vietnam. We provide expanded species descriptions based on new collections and new distributional and natural history data of all Vietnamese water skinks. In addition, an identification key to the species of Tropidophorus from the Indochinese Peninsula is presented.
